COMPANY PROFILE

 

    Bridges Multi-Skills Training Centre Ormoc City Incorporated is a technical-vocational educational training center registered under Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) through the Unified TVET Program Registration Accreditation System (UTPRAS) and it was established Trinidad, Abrantes and Bacolod family thru its initiatives and in affirmations of their commitment to develop and upgrade the technical vocational skills of the Youth in Eastern Visayas. This was inaugurated on July 19, 2013. But due to the devastation of typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) the operation was disrupted and it was re-inaugurated on July 11, 2014.

It is erected in approximately four thousand fifty six square meters site near the National Highway in Brgy. San Pablo Ormoc City with the effort of Mrs. Emmalinda T. Abrantes (VP Operation) and her family with the assistance of Mr. Josue D. Bacolod (President), Mrs. Fe T. Bacolod ( VP Finance) and family respectively.

It is manage by the VP for Operation and the Center Administrator with supervising Head of the Management Services, OIC-Head of the Instructional Services and the Head of the Students Affairs.

At present it has three registered qualifications with one Technical Trainer, one ASEAN Master Trainer/Assessor for Housekeeping and has five non-teaching staff with a total capacity of twenty five trainees per qualification per batch.

The Vision of BMTC is we are devoted to further hone Filipino's technical and vocational skills set to its fullest potential to met global market demands and standards.

The Mission of BMTC is to become a world renowned technical vocational institution offering a highly competent and competitive graduates.

Bridges Multi-Skills Training Centre Ormoc City Incorporated has 7 Structured building within the site which is composed of the following:

  • 1 Administration Building

  • 1 Multi Purpose Hall

  • 1 Canteen with Guard House

  • 1 Big workshop for SMAW and GTAW NC II

  • 1 Big workshop for Massage Therapy, Housekeeping, FBS and Bartending NC II

  • 1 Workshop intended for Cookery and Bread Pastry Production NC II

  • 1 Staff House and Boarding House that can accommodate 2 person per room

  • Bunk House for 60 trainees 

 

    The training center aims to be one of the most top notch training school for technical and vocational studies, cater the future K12 Education in the region and help Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Tourism (DOT) and Tourism Industry Board Foundation Inc. (TIBFI) for the implementation of the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) for Tourism Professionals.
